Yes. If a person infected with coronavirus sneezes or coughs into the
air, instead of into a tissue or the crook of their arm, droplets
containing the virus land on surfaces. If you then come into contact
with these surfaces and touch your eyes, nose or mouth with your hand,
the virus can get into your body and you can become infected.
Important:
Wash your hands regularly and thoroughly with soap and water.
Avoid touching your face.
Cough or sneeze into a paper tissue or the crook of your arm.
