UNESCO JOINS THE FIGHT AGAINST COVID-19

UNESCO office in Dar es Salaam has handed over to the Government of Tanzania 1,000 COVID-19 safety kits for journalists, 10 tablets for the Ministry of Health communication team and over 200,000 COVID-19 safety posters for journalists and for the general public. The safety kits included masks, gloves, sanitizers and other materials.

The items were handed over by the UNESCO Head of Office and Representative, Mr. Tirso Dos Santos and were received by the Minister of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children, Ms. Ummy Mwalimu.
